Eight years ago, we began our journey to make our flexible packaging solutions even more environmentally friendly. At that time, we began testing several prototypes which evolved into our two sustainable offerings below, including our revolutionary product, AdVantageVinyl®.

Why do we say revolutionary? Because once these products reach a modern landfill, our 6 Gauge Clear Adhesive-Backed AdVantageVinyl® product will degrade more than 50% in less than two years, and our 8 Gauge Clear AdVantageVinyl® product will degrade nearly 40% in two and a half years, based on our independent lab testing using ASTM D5511-18. To ensure we are providing an environmentally friendly vinyl product, we have conducted independent laboratory testing using ASTM D5511-18 methods to demonstrate that our 6 Gauge Adhesive-Backed AdVantageVinyl® product will degrade more than 50% in less than two years, and our 8 Gauge Clear AdVantageVinyl® product will degrade nearly 40% in two and a half years once it has reached a modern landfill.

All of our sustainable materials are:

  • Prop 65, CPSIA, RoHS, and Reach compliant.
  • Stable with the same shelf life of current materials.
  • Able to be disposed of through curbside trash or litter pickups for disposal in modern landfills.

When you’re done using these items, they can be disposed of in curbside pickups (trash) or recycled by returning to VinylArt or sending to a PVC recycling facility.
