What makes AdVantageVinyl® truly revolutionary is its performance in modern landfill conditions. Independent laboratory testing using ASTM D5511 methods confirms:
- 6 Gauge Clear Adhesive-backed Vinyl degrades more than 84% after 3.5 years (1,269 days) in a modern landfill
- 8 Gauge Clear Vinyl degrades more than 64% after just over 4 years (1,554 days) in a modern landfill
AdVantageVinyl® also maintains the same shelf life and stability as traditional vinyl and can be disposed of via curbside trash or litter pickup. It may also be recycled by returning material to VinylArt or sending it to a PVC recycling facility
