Schools, universities, libraries, and the retailers who serve them all face the same challenge in August: get organized, get stocked, and get students set up for success. That’s where we come in. From kindergarten classrooms to college campuses, our custom vinyl and polypropylene products show up in places you might not even notice — but you’d miss them if they weren’t there. Think about it: book covers that protect textbooks from a year of backpacks and lunchboxes., ID and badge holders for students, teachers, and visitors, Document protectors for syllabi, handbooks, and emergency procedures posted in every classroom, Ticket holders for hall passes, library cards, and athletic event credentials.
If your school district, university, or back-to-school retail program needs something specific, we can build it. With more than 5,000 dies already on hand and the ability to design new ones quickly and affordably, our team can match almost any size, shape, or specification you bring us. Short run, long run, plain or branded — we’ll make it work.
Manufactured in the USA — Always Has Been, Always Will Be
Almost fifty years ago, Vinyl Art opened its doors in Plymouth, Minnesota with a simple commitment: make great packaging products, manufactured here at home, by American workers. That hasn’t changed.
While many of our competitors moved production overseas chasing lower labor costs, we doubled down on what we believed in — and the last several years have proven that decision right.
When you partner with a U.S. manufacturer, you skip the customs paperwork, the ocean freight headaches, and the multi-week shipping windows. You get faster turnaround, easier communication, and a supply chain you can actually see. You also get a partner who’s accountable, because we’re not hiding behind a time zone.
Recent consumer research continues to show that shoppers prefer American-made products. Whether you’re a brand stocking a national retail rollout or a school district sourcing supplies, choosing American manufacturing helps maintain quality while keeping lead times short.
AdVantageVinyl® and Polypropylene: Smarter Materials for a Smarter Future
Today’s customers, students, and stakeholders all expect more from the products they use. Schools are setting sustainability goals. Retailers are tracking the environmental footprint of their packaging. Brands are publishing ESG reports.
Our AdVantageVinyl® line was built exactly for this moment. It looks, feels, and performs like traditional vinyl, but it’s engineered to break down dramatically faster once it reaches a modern landfill.
Independent ASTM D5511-18 laboratory testing shows our 6-gauge clear adhesive-backed vinyl degrades more than 84% after three and a half years in a modern landfill environment, while our 8-gauge clear vinyl degrades more than 64% after just over four years.
Our materials are also Prop 65, CPSIA, RoHS, and REACH compliant, offering the same shelf life as standard vinyl. That means customers can transition to more sustainable materials without redesigning products or worrying about regulatory compliance.
If you prefer a non-PVC alternative, our Polypropylene (PP) products are recyclable, lightweight, and ideal for high-volume applications where cost efficiency is important. Whatever your sustainability goals may be, we can help you achieve them without sacrificing clarity, durability, or value.
