Developed by Vinyl Art, AdVantageVinyl® is independently tested and proven to biodegrade significantly faster than traditional vinyl in modern landfills, based on ASTM D5511-18 testing:
- 6-Gauge Clear Adhesive-backed Vinyl: Degrades 84% after 3.5 years
- 8-Gauge Clear Vinyl: Degrades 64% after just over 4 years
We also offer PolyPropylene (PP) material, which is a lighter, less dense archival material that is relatively inexpensive.
Both of these materials maintain the same durability, shelf life, and quality as standard vinyl while meeting Prop 65, CPSIA, RoHS, and REACH compliance standards.
